HISTORY

As local bike shop owners for almost 30 years now, Ashan & Leanne have experienced first hand the exciting evolution of the retail bicycle business.

Trek's e-bikes are pedal-assist bikes, which means there’s a motor that helps the pedals turn when you’re riding, but no throttle like a motorcycle or dirt bike. We are an eclectic bunch of individuals, coming from a variety of cycling backgrounds - city commuters, recreational road & trail riders, triathletes, world-ranked cyclocross competitors.

When you’re pedaling, the e-bike gives you a boost. When you stop pedaling, the bike stops assisting.

High-Performance Motor

The e-bike motor is located around the pedals in the bottom bracket area.

Care is taken to use biodegradable and environmentally friendly products whenever possible. A relaxed riding position, longer chainstays, and more tire clearance, all help smooth out the rough stuff.
